Welcome to Älvsjö Health Center
Älvsjö Health Center is located in the center of Älvsjö with excellent transport links, about 12 minutes by commuter train from the central station.
The health center is a region-driven results unit with well-functioning routines, good introduction, and engaged and competent staff. We value a sustainable work environment, professional community, and skills development.
We believe in the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible schedules. Working hours can vary between 07:30-17:00, weekdays Monday to Friday. The clinic is well-staffed, and our patients are offered a fixed listing with a doctor.
We are a well-established clinic with over 70 employees. Our team includes district nurses, nurses, specialist doctors in general medicine, resident doctors, nursing assistants, medical foot care specialists, psychologists, social workers, and medical secretaries. We have approximately 17,700 registered patients and home care for about 200 patients.

Job Responsibilities
All tasks associated with being a licensed physician at a health center, including outpatient work with acute and planned patient visits. Experience in primary care is advantageous. Documentation is done in the TakeCare journal system.
Employment Type
100%, Fixed-term employment for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County healthcare area:
- Background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
