The social services are facing new challenges due to a changed social services act. To meet these needs and to provide our residents with better and faster service, we are in the process of establishing a new reception within social services that will handle all contacts regarding children and youth, adults, financial assistance, and family law issues. The Joint Reception IFO will be the link between the municipality's residents and social services. The Joint Reception IFO is under construction, and we will simultaneously seek positions for social workers for this group.
Before the start of the Joint Reception IFO, we are now looking for a 1st social worker. The position will be divided into 50% management and 50% case handling. If you want to help build the Joint Reception IFO and be part of a new way of working, we welcome your application!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is divided into 50% management function as the 1st social worker and 50% case handling. Your responsibilities as the 1st social worker are to lead, distribute, and ensure the quality of the work. The work also includes mentoring and supporting social workers in the reception with their daily tasks and collaborating with both internal and external partners to create a holistic view and the best conditions for the municipality's residents. You will have close cooperation with the unit manager regarding environmental monitoring, follow-up, and collaboration. The responsibilities also include representing the social committee in both administrative and civil courts. The position requires availability and physical presence as well as good knowledge of social work, primarily regarding children and youth, adult issues, financial assistance, family law, and preventive work.
The main tasks in the Joint Reception IFO are to receive, sort, prioritize, and assess the information that comes in. A large part of this involves receiving reports and applications as well as conducting risk assessments and preliminary assessments for children and youth as well as adults based on current legislation. The assignment also includes providing information, consultation, and advice, writing statements to the Prosecutor's Office, the Police Authority, and the Transport Agency, as well as being present at urgent needs that require the presence of social services.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a trained social worker and have completed your degree.
You have at least five years of experience in public authority operations within both children and youth, adults, financial assistance, and family law. You also have experience in both preventive work and outpatient interventions within social services.
You have experience as a 1st social worker or other experience in leading work.
