Experienced Nursing Assistant for Home Care

We are looking for an experienced nursing assistant who is passionate about patients and patient care in home healthcare.

Job Description:

All tasks that a nursing assistant performs in home healthcare. This is done based on individual delegations where you are required to pass knowledge tests and demonstrate practically that you have the knowledge required for the assignment.

Qualifications:

Nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare and eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Experience working in Swedish healthcare, preferably home care, is an advantage. Being able to cycle and drive a car is an absolute requirement for employment. Experience with the TakeCare journal system is a requirement.

Employment Form:

Permanent full-time employment. A probationary period may be applied. Working hours Monday to Friday. Start date by agreement.

For patient-related work within Stockholm County's Healthcare Area:

  • Background checks will be applied before employment decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
