About the Company
Do you want to work in a broad role where purchasing is in focus – but where you also get insights into production and finance? We are now looking for an operational buyer on behalf of our client who wants to help create structure, flow, and business value in a company operating in the manufacturing industry.
This is a perfect opportunity for you who are newly graduated in purchasing/logistics – or have a few years of experience – and want to build a solid foundation in operational purchasing with the opportunity to develop. The company is growing well, and there is potential to eventually move towards a more strategic role.
Your Responsibilities As an operational buyer, you will be responsible for daily purchasing activities and ensure that materials and components are in place at the right time and at the right cost. You will work closely with both production and finance and serve as an important support function in the organization.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
Operational purchasing and order placement
Delivery monitoring and contact with suppliers
Follow-up on purchase orders and delivery times
Support for production planning
Simpler financial administration, such as invoice handling
Ensure structure and good overview in flows and systems
The role is broad and suits you who enjoy having many points of contact and who see what needs to be done – even before someone else does it.
Your Profile
We believe that you who are applying meet the following:
Have education in purchasing, logistics, or equivalent work experience (new graduates are welcome to apply)
Have an interest and understanding of material flows and business processes
Are structured, meticulous, and have a good overview
Enjoy supporting multiple departments and working in a coordinating role
Are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks
If you have worked in business systems or have experience with similar administrative tasks, it is a merit.
