Purchaser in Supply Support

Saab is now strengthening its team within Supply Support and is looking for a dedicated and self-driven Purchaser for a consulting assignment. Here you will play a central role in ensuring material supply to production and contributing to important deliveries within advanced technology and the aviation industry.

About the position

As a Purchaser in Supply Support, you will have the operational purchasing responsibility for planned needs of aircraft components. The role involves a strong delivery focus and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work daily to optimize flows, improve cost bases, and ensure that production has what it needs on time.

Your main tasks

In this role, you will work with:

• Purchasing of spare parts, repairs, and services based on planned needs
• Order placement, follow-up, and active delivery monitoring
• Handling of sales orders
• Gathering cost estimates
• Flow optimization of materials and purchasing processes
• Review and analysis of cost bases from suppliers

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• 2–5 years of experience in operational purchasing
• Good understanding of purchasing processes and supplier management
• Ability to work in a structured manner, follow up on cases, and drive processes independently
• Good communication skills and experience with many contact points
