We are an independent primary school located in central Västerås with approximately 860 students in grades 4-9. We are a profile school with focuses on dance and choir, which gives our students the opportunity to combine their academic studies with culture. We believe that the interplay between knowledge and culture is a contributing factor to succeeding and feeling good in school. Now we need you, a qualified mathematics teacher

In your role as a teacher with us, you will teach mathematics in grades 4-9, where you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in accordance with the curriculum and actively contribute to the school’s systematic quality work.

You will be part of a working group and collaborate within subject teams, where you and your colleagues develop the teaching and the school’s pedagogical work. Our profiles are also an important part of the school’s operations, and you will be involved in them in various ways during projects, concerts, and performances. The role also includes mentorship. In addition, you are expected to support and motivate students in their learning and personal development, so that they have the best conditions to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with authorization to teach mathematics.
• Authorization in science subjects is an advantage.
