At Cibes Lift, we are now looking for a Quality Engineer focused on production and supplier quality who thrives in a changing environment, is solution-oriented, and wants to help develop both work methods, processes, and their own role over time.

About the role

You will be a central part of the quality work related to production and supplier quality. The role has a clear operational focus where you work hands-on with deviations, root cause analyses, and improvement measures - both internally in our production units and together with our suppliers.

You will belong to our Quality Assurance team and work closely with production, purchasing, and other key functions. The work is primarily conducted at our production unit in Gävle and partially at our unit in Järbo. We also have close collaboration with our unit in Poland, and travel to suppliers may occur as needed.

The role is operational and close to the business in an environment where processes and work methods are continuously developed. This requires professionalism, analytical skills, and the ability to come up with solutions even when ready-made templates are lacking.

The role includes several clear areas of responsibility, but also room to influence how the work is conducted:

• Manage and follow up supplier deviations from complaint to action
• Drive root cause analyses (e.g., 5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D) in case of quality deficiencies
• Initiate and follow up corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Support production in quality-related issues
• Participate in improvement work regarding process and product quality
• Perform supplier assessments and audits
• Contribute to the further development and compliance of our quality management system (ISO 9001)

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in quality work within manufacturing or assembly industry and who thrives when structure is combined with flexibility. You work methodically but are not afraid to think outside the box when reality demands it.

For the role, we would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in quality or equivalent work experience
• Experience in quality work in production, preferably with a supplier focus
• Good knowledge of quality tools and methods
• Ability to communicate clearly and stand firm in dialogues, even when it gets tough
• Very good Swedish and English in speech and writing

As a person, you are solution-oriented, pragmatic, and curious. You are happy to help where needed and find it easy to collaborate while also daring to challenge established ways of working.
