Do you want to lead and develop maintenance work in an organization where safety, operational reliability, quality, and continuous improvement are the focus? We are now looking for a Maintenance Manager for PU Sandviken HOT, Tube Division at Alleima. The unit extrudes stainless seamless tubes (so-called Hollows) of special alloys, primarily for internal further processing but also directly for the external market. Your role

As a Maintenance Manager, you have overall responsibility for the maintenance operations, which consist of 4 sub-departments: Electrical, Mechanical, Shift Maintenance, and Maintenance Engineers. There are approximately 70 employees in the maintenance department, of which 9 report directly to you. You will be part of the management team at PU Sandviken HOT. In this role, you ensure high availability in the facilities and equipment through planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance, and drive continuous improvements in the area.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance organization and be responsible for the overall operational and strategic maintenance work.
  • Be responsible for maintenance strategy, planning, and follow-up to ensure high operational reliability and availability of the machinery. Continue to drive the transition towards predictive and data-driven maintenance through increased digitalization, analysis, and smarter working methods.
  • Overall budget responsibility, follow-up, and challenging maintenance costs are central to the role. Monitor, follow up, and document maintenance results, communicate operational status and deviations, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Actively participate in investment work from a maintenance perspective.
  • Ensure that work is carried out safely according to applicable laws, regulations, safety requirements, and 5S standards.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in a leadership role who is passionate about developing both employees, work environment, and working methods to create a safe, efficient, secure, and well-functioning maintenance organization. You have experience from a leadership position in maintenance at a strategic level in a larger organization. You are comfortable with digital tools and can easily adapt to new systems. As we are an international company with English as the corporate language, good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form, is required.

Your personal qualities are crucial for the role. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating cross-functionally and sees the value of cross-border cooperation to achieve the best possible results. You work in a structured and proactive manner, have a good ability to document, and can unite and develop teams through clear communication and inclusive leadership. Your practical problem-solving focus and commitment to continuous improvement will help you succeed in the role of Maintenance Manager.
