Your Future Challenge

As an automation technician, you will be an important part of the Maintenance department. You will work both preventively and reactively to ensure high availability and operational reliability in our production. The role is varied and close to operations, with significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence both working methods and technical solutions. On-call duty is included in the position.

In this role, you will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and automation equipment. The work is practical and varied and includes, among other things, electric motors, drive systems, inverters, and control systems. You will work systematically with troubleshooting, analysis, and optimization of electrical and automation equipment to ensure high operational reliability and availability in production. The work includes performing measurements as well as analysis and follow-up of results as a basis for improvement actions.

An important part of the assignment is to create, update, and follow up on lifecycle and maintenance plans for electrical equipment, including work with spare parts management and technical documentation. You will actively participate in planned maintenance to reduce production disruptions and increase the plant's efficiency.

The role involves close collaboration with both production and the rest of the maintenance organization. You will participate in projects and improvement work related to the development of the facility and also act as a contact person for contractors and suppliers within drive systems. Additionally, you will contribute to developing and strengthening competence in automation and electricity by suggesting and participating in training initiatives for automation personnel.

To Succeed in the Role

We are looking for someone who is structured, collaborative, and enjoys solving technical challenges together with others.

We see that you have:

  • A degree in automation and a few years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with electrical and automation equipment in an industrial environment.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC technology and systematic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with control systems (Siemens S7, ABB Advant 450 or 800XA) and frequency converters (ABB, Sitebase) and regulations in optimization is an advantage.
  • A valid driver's license (B).
