JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Gästrike Vatten has a large number of treatment plants, waterworks, pumping stations, pressure boosting stations, and high reservoirs, and you will work on the maintenance and development of our technical solutions within electrical engineering and automation for these facilities.

As an automation engineer, you will work on optimizing and adapting our automation solutions. You will actively participate in the organization's projects as a technical expert and ensure that the automation perspective is considered from start to finish. The role also includes some operational support, troubleshooting, continuous improvement work, and commissioning of new installations. Much of the development and improvement work is done in project form, where you both drive and participate in both smaller and larger investment projects.

On-call duty may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in a relevant technical field, preferably in automation, or equivalent education or experience. It is an advantage if you have work experience in the technical field where you have worked with PLC programming and experience with SCADA systems.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work both independently and in a team and has the ability to make their own decisions. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and have a quality-oriented mindset as a natural trait in your work.
