We are now looking for an Automation Technician for our Technical and Property unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Gästrike Vatten has a large number of treatment plants, waterworks, pumping stations, pressure boosting stations, and high reservoirs, and you will work with maintenance and our technical solutions in electrical engineering and automation for these facilities.

As an automation technician, you will be responsible for operations and service in our automation environments. You will work based on our incident management system and ensure that incoming faults, tasks, and improvement needs are handled in a structured and traceable manner. The role also involves performing simpler programming and installation of components in our PLC systems, as well as participating in commissioning and technical changes in the facilities.

You will work closely with colleagues in Technical and Property as well as operations technicians in both water and wastewater.

On-call duty may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We believe that you who are applying for the position have post-secondary education in a relevant technical field, preferably in automation/electrical engineering, or have education/experience deemed equivalent. You may already be working in the process industry or the water and wastewater sector? We also view previous experience with SCADA systems positively.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work both independently and in a team and has the ability to make their own decisions. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and have a quality-oriented mindset as a natural trait in your work.
