Your Mission

Söderhamn Municipality is an organization in constant development that works to create a safe and secure environment for our residents, employees, and visitors.

We are now looking for a key person who wants to take a comprehensive approach to our systematic fire protection work. As an SBA Coordinator, you will play a central role in the municipality's safety work. You will be responsible for planning, leading, documenting, and following up on the systematic fire protection work in all of the municipality's buildings and operations. The municipality uses the property system Pythagoras, where we have good digital tools to support this work. Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Coordination and development: Drive and develop the overall SBA work in line with applicable laws and regulations.
• Documentation and follow-up: Ensure that all SBA documentation is current, correct, and accessible.
• Control and monitoring: Coordinate self-inspections of fire protection equipment, fire technical installations (such as fire alarms and fire doors), and escape routes, and ensure that deficiencies are addressed.
• Advisory: Be the municipality's expert support in fire protection issues towards operations, managers, and employees.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in fire protection or safety work, preferably within a municipal or politically governed organization.

Requirements:

• Education and/or experience deemed relevant for the role of SBA Coordinator.
• Good knowledge of the Fire Protection Act (LSO) and related regulations.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive processes forward.

Education and experience in technical fire protection.

A valid driver's license (B) is required as travel within the municipality is part of the job. Good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.
