Do you want to work as an instrumentation technician with technical challenges and be a key person in ensuring operational reliability for large industrial clients? Diamond Power is now looking for a dedicated instrumentation technician who wants to take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced instrumentation and control systems – in close collaboration with both the workshop and the customer.

About the role As an instrumentation technician at Diamond Power, you will have a varied and technically challenging role with significant responsibility. You will work with installation, maintenance, assembly, and repair of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical instruments. The work takes place both in their workshop in Skutskär and on-site at their customers where you perform service and assembly.
In this role, you will closely collaborate with colleagues and other departments within the company, and we place great emphasis on teamwork and a solution-oriented approach. Of course, you will also be careful to follow applicable electrical safety regulations and keep yourself updated on changes in the field.
Examples of job responsibilities:
- Compile and ensure delivery of orders based on documentation. Both mechanically and electrically.
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments and measurement systems. Both mechanically and electrically.
- Ensure that instruments and equipment are correctly calibrated and functioning properly.
- Identify and rectify faults in sensors, detectors, and control systems.
- Revise and update electrical and instrumentation drawings as well as operational procedures.
About you We are looking for someone who is a skilled problem solver with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You are fearless, meticulous, and have a practical mindset that ensures you always deliver quality. You enjoy working both alone and in a team, have good structure, and can collaborate smoothly with other departments.
To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:
- Relevant education in electrical engineering, automation, or instrumentation technology.
- Several years of work experience as an instrumentation technician.
