Steinweg is strengthening its presence in the Nordic region and is now building a new team in Gävle. This is an opportunity for you who want to take on significant responsibility, develop in an international environment, and influence how the business is shaped. Initially, travel to Gothenburg will be required approximately once a month for introduction and relationship building.

Steinweg (Scandinavia) AB, formerly known as Skandiatransport, is a provider of logistics services with LME-approved warehousing operations in Helsingborg and operations in several Swedish ports, including Gothenburg, Gävle, and Malmö.

We handle LME metals, minor metals, forest products, ferroalloys, and non-hazardous chemicals, and also offer forwarding services in neighboring countries such as Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Service and Sales Specialist, you are the hub between customers, internal specialists, subcontractors, and the operational team. You are responsible for the entire order process - from customer contact to delivery and invoicing - and also manage important parts of our coffee business in Gävle in close collaboration with colleagues in Antwerp.

Your tasks include:

  • Following the customer's order from start to finish and being their most important point of contact.
  • Coordinating information and communication between customers, internal functions, and external subcontractors.
  • Ensuring that documentation, pricing, and discrepancies are handled correctly.
  • Taking responsibility for invoicing, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Contributing to improving our working methods and supporting the team in a climate where we help each other.

Who are you?

You are communicative, meticulous, and have a natural ability to create good customer relationships. Experience in the logistics industry is important, but how far you have come in your career is less decisive - we value willingness, commitment, and a positive view of development.
