We are now looking for summer replacements for the Process Lab. We offer summer jobs from June 1 to August 21 (weeks 23-34). Please specify in your application which weeks you wish to work. Working hours are daytime, Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Description

As a summer intern in our Process Lab, you will be an important part of a team working with quality, process, and environmental controls. The tasks include both practical and theoretical assignments. The results you produce are used to guide and optimize the manufacturing process as well as to monitor our emissions to water.

You will, for example:

• Work with sampling of pulp, chemicals, and process water.
• Analyze samples using various measurement methods and instruments.
• Collaborate with laboratory technicians, engineers, environmental technicians, and operations personnel.

You will have the opportunity to actively participate in both workplace and improvement initiatives. We set high goals and constantly strive to develop and improve; our improvement work is a cornerstone of our operations and something that all employees are involved in. For us, development and continuous improvement are important.

Qualifications

• Chemistry and laboratory knowledge from, for example, a high school education in natural sciences/technology, other equivalent education, or previous work experience.
• Good computer skills.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

It is an advantage if you have ongoing technical education at a university or college.

Personal Qualities

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and analytical, with a clear focus on safety. You should be able to easily absorb information and familiarize yourself with our analysis methods in a relatively short time. We value strong engagement and a willingness to take on new challenges.
