Quality Engineer at BUMAX

We are currently in an exciting phase – we have started building our new factory in Sandviken, which will give us a state-of-the-art production environment when we move in during Q3 2027. You will be involved in the relocation work from a quality process perspective and will be placed in the new factory during the second half of 2027.

Your responsibilities as a quality engineer

• Maintain and develop BUMAX's quality management system with annual third-party audits according to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 together with the QA manager.
• Drive quality improvement projects in close collaboration with production, engineering, sales, and customers.
• Work with FMEA, PPAP, and SPC.
• Product certification according to ISO 16228/EN 10204.
• Handle complaints, conduct damage investigations, and create 8D reports.
• Develop control and measurement techniques together with QC and engineering to improve quality, productivity, and cost rationalization.

Your background and skills

• Engineering degree from university.
• You may be a recent graduate, but it is advantageous if you have worked a few years in the manufacturing industry as a quality engineer or production engineer.
• You handle Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Some things that may be good to know

• The position is full-time during the day, and we offer a permanent employment.
• You will be based at our production facility in Åshammar until the move to Sandviken during Q3 2027.
• The position can be filled immediately or by agreement.
• Your manager will be our QA manager Henrik Henriksson.
