HSB plans, finances, builds, and manages housing throughout Sweden. Today, over a million people – singles, couples, and families – live in HSB's 26,708 rental apartments and 346,381 condominium apartments. HSB also offers Sweden's largest housing savings program that provides priority for a home.

HSB Södra Norrland operates in Gävleborg, Västernorrland, and Jämtland. We serve about 450 housing associations and other property owners with a comprehensive range of management services. HSB also has about 2,000 rental apartments in the area. We have nearly 250 skilled employees who now need reinforcement in Gävle as a property manager goes on parental leave. We are looking for a person who wholeheartedly wants to contribute to our continued positive development.

Responsibilities and Tasks

As a property manager for our rental apartments, you have a broad role with a lot of responsibility. You are operationally responsible for our rental properties, which means everything from following up on ongoing operations, ensuring that we meet the property owner's responsibilities, to handling and responding to tenant matters.

You have financial responsibility for the properties within your area of responsibility and are responsible for ensuring that the technical operations are carried out in accordance with the goals and guidelines set for the business area. In the role of manager, you will conduct move-out inspections, participate in and follow up on maintenance projects, and work on investigations and write reports. Organizationally, you will be part of a group of four property managers and two rental administrators who report directly to the property manager. With knowledge in economics, technology, and law (tenancy law, etc.), the manager ensures that the property portfolio is managed with a long-term economic result where we have satisfied tenants and good relationships with our partners.

Experience

We are looking for someone who has a property management education or equivalent experience. You have several years of experience in property management and are accustomed to having contact with tenants. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of building technical installations such as heating and ventilation systems. You need to have a valid B driver's license as travel is required in the position.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are persistent and have good collaborative skills as the position involves many contacts both internally and externally. The role of property manager requires accuracy, organizational skills, and good prioritization ability, and we believe that to succeed in the position, you are clear, structured, and service-oriented. You also have financial awareness and a problem-solving analytical ability. You will work closely with other employees, which is why great importance is placed on your personal qualities. In the role of manager, you are required to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

By contributing to the organization's success, your efforts will be valued. Opportunities exist at HSB.

We strive for a balanced gender distribution and see diversity as a strength. Selection is ongoing, so please apply today.

The position is a full-time temporary position for one year starting on 2026-04-01 and is covered by the I-agreement between the employer organization Fastigo and Unionen.
