About the job

The Development Governance Unit is responsible for ensuring that we collectively achieve an increased pace of development that creates value both internally and externally. Our mission is to ensure uniform governance and a more efficient development operation, where the right things are developed and the desired effects are achieved based on fact-based data and well-founded analyses for decision-making.

Within the Swedish Tax Agency, there is a development portfolio consisting of various sub-portfolios with associated development units. We work within the frameworks of SAFe, Pejl, ITIL, and IT4IT, and focus on operational capabilities, information governance, and our business development model.

To succeed in this role, you must engage the people in the organization. Therefore, the job largely involves engaging, motivating, and training managers and employees. As a business developer, you are responsible for steering, developing, and managing methods, models, and approaches together with other colleagues across the entire development operation. In this role, you are expected to help build our business development capability, be a role model for the lean-agile approach, and have a strong interest in change management. The work is strategic and tactical, focusing on quality development of various processes, routines, and methods within our business development capability. Some operational elements may occur for knowledge transfer purposes.

You should also have:

• A higher education degree that the employer assesses as relevant, or several years of current and relevant work experience
• A certification as a business developer or business architect
• Experience working with overarching business development in larger organizations
• Several years of experience working with steering, developing, and managing methods, models, and approaches related to business development

It is desirable that you have experience working with multiple governance and development models such as SAFe, ITIL, IT4IT, and/or models for program/project governance. It is also desirable that you have led change within larger development initiatives. Experience in development governance from the public sector or authority is also meritorious.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
