The administration's mission is to offer adults guidance and education in lifelong learning. Within the administration, there is also guidance and support for adults' individual development towards self-sufficiency. The administration is responsible for integration and also coordinates labor market policy measures.

Description

Do you want to make a real difference for people far from the labor market? Are you practical, relationship-building, and motivated by seeing individuals develop? Then this could be the right position for you.

The labor market activities belong to the unit Individual and Development (IU) and work to support individuals in approaching and achieving self-sufficiency. The activities primarily target individuals receiving financial assistance who need work-oriented interventions.

Our operations are changeable, but the workplace is currently located at our second-hand store in Deje, with associated workstations. Placement, tasks, and working hours may vary over time based on the needs of the operation.

Responsibilities

As a work supervisor, you are responsible for planning and the daily operational work in the activity and its premises. You provide tailored guidance and support to participants on-site and create conditions for learning in a workplace, aiming for participants to make transitions towards work or studies.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with other professionals such as employment consultants, youth consultants, and coordinators.

You are responsible for ensuring that participants' work training and internships are developmental and that individual action plans are followed. The assignment combines individual support and development work, as well as creating a workplace with as realistic working conditions as possible.

The target group often consists of individuals who are far from the labor market and need extensive support and adjustments. This means you need to be able to support, guide, and at the same time challenge with the individual’s development in focus.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone educated as a social pedagogue, treatment assistant, or have other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

At least two years of experience in social work and in guiding individuals in some form, as well as good physical ability since the work involves lifting and practical tasks.

You need to have a B driver's license and be able to drive with a trailer.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are practical, flexible, and creative.

The work requires that you are confident in yourself, pedagogical, structured, and self-driven. You also need to have the ability to motivate change.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in working with labor market interventions and training in Supported Employment and/or Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Conditions

Probationary employment for 6 months with a 100% workload and the possibility of permanent employment.
