JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a secure and responsible person who wants to make a difference in people's lives? We are now looking for an engaged support assistant for one of our group homes where you will work with users and be an important part of their daily lives.

In your role, you will provide support measures that create security, promote health, motivate, and encourage independence. You will also collaborate with the users' networks, other staff, and other partners. Your task will be to support the users in daily activities based on their individual needs. Within the administration, we implement IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus), which means that all support activities should be based on the individual's needs.

In daily work, we use a pedagogical approach and a low-arousal response. You will document in our operational system and take responsibility for other areas of responsibility within the group home and administration.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is secure, responsible, and has a great commitment to working with people.
• Has experience in similar work.
• Can work with a low-arousal response and pedagogical methods.
• Is meticulous in documentation and takes responsibility for your work.

The position is full-time with an immediate start. In this role, you will work scheduled hours during the day, evening, night, and on-call throughout the year.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Certification as a nursing assistant
• Experience working with individuals with autism and other disabilities.
• Ability to manage outwardly aggressive behavior using a low-arousal approach.
• Experience working with clear pedagogical methods and visual support.
• Documentation is an important task, so you need to be computer literate and able to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A valid driver's license (B).

You have a patient and respectful approach in meetings with users and show understanding for the individual's needs and circumstances. You are an active team player who also has the ability to take initiative, work structured, and independently when the situation requires it.
