Operations Coordinator within the Ambulance Healthcare Administration

About the Role

Our operations center has a strategic responsibility to ensure the daily operations based on current needs and conditions. The work is both operational in real-time and involves long-term planning to create stability and predictability in the organization. The operations center is a central part of the organization and is staffed by operations coordinators.

In the role of operations coordinator, you, together with managers and other functions, are responsible for ensuring that the region's pre-hospital resources are always staffed with the right competence. You are an important support for employees within the ambulance service and other functions regarding issues related to daily operations.

The operations center is staffed 24/7, all year round — which means work during the day, evening, night, and weekends.

You will work both independently and together with colleagues, based at the ambulance healthcare administration's headquarters in Årsta. In your role, you will closely collaborate with personnel coordinators responsible for long-term scheduling at the ambulance stations in Region Stockholm.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring efficient resource utilization of both personnel and vehicles
  • Ongoing monitoring and follow-up of daily operations
  • Receiving and handling internal and external matters that come into the ambulance healthcare administration.
  • Staffing during acute short-term absences by booking replacements in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with laws and collective agreements
  • Following up on overtime and ensuring compliance with daily and weekly rest periods
  • Being first-line support for our systems, such as Rakel and FRAPP

You will work closely with the operational coordinator, personnel coordinators at the ambulance stations, and other functions within the organization.

To Succeed in This Role, We See That You Have:

  • At least a high school education
  • Experience from pre-hospital care or other health and medical care and/or experience from communication and staffing functions
  • Experience working with personnel and payroll systems
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and agreements within personnel and payroll administration as well as other HR areas
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
  • Good system familiarity and comfort with digital tools such as the Office suite and email

Employment Type

Fixed-term employment during the summer of 2026, starting as agreed.
