We are a newly established inpatient department with 14 beds and a broad medical profile.
In the department, patients with diagnoses in areas such as medicine, neurology, and surgery are cared for. Patients requiring, for example, High flow nasal cannula therapy (HFNC), Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), and various types of drains, such as pleural drains, are also part of our mission.

We work in interdisciplinary teams with nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and rehabilitation staff. Communication and good collaboration are central, and we always keep the patient in focus.
We also collaborate with several different areas of expertise, including medicine, surgery, cardiology, and orthopedics. This provides a broad competence within the unit and creates excellent opportunities for you to develop in your professional role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now welcoming a nurse to Medical Department 9. Here, you will work closely with patients in an environment that offers new challenges and learning opportunities every day.
The work is varied and involves you and your colleagues being responsible for patient care, treatment, and nursing. You will become part of a team where we support each other, work across professional boundaries, and focus heavily on planning, structure, and patient safety.
As a new employee, you will receive an individualized introduction of at least four weeks. If you are new to the profession as a nurse, we also offer the opportunity to participate in the clinical foundation year.
In the department, support is available from both a specialist nurse and a unit manager nurse who are present in daily work.
The position also includes mentoring students and new employees. To provide you with good conditions to feel secure in that role, we offer training in mentoring. We place great emphasis on professional development and continuously work to develop the staff group through both internal training and online courses.
The position involves work during the day, evening, and night. With us, you have the opportunity to influence your scheduling through a wish schedule with a quota model, and we would like you to be interested in working mostly nights.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying are a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are also required for the position.
Through your engagement and positive attitude, you contribute to a good work climate, where you and your colleagues work to provide our patients with the highest quality care. You have a high readiness for action, a professional demeanor, and the ability to adapt your planning according to the needs of the organization.
We would like you to be curious and open-minded, and that you have the courage to be involved in changes and development.
