Vårdcentralen Måsen is a health care unit with over 10,000 registered patients and is responsible for medical treatment at two nursing homes in the area. We have a broad competence and continuously strive for the development of our operations and employees. Since 2023, we have been working in teams, and we believe that continuity in interdisciplinary teams should be the foundation for patients who need it. We believe this leads to security and an increased ability to influence their own care. We are now looking for a specialist in general medicine. We would like you to have an interest in being responsible for one of our nursing homes with a psychiatric focus. We have a stable group of general practitioners who have worked for a long time and are now looking for someone who has an interest and curiosity about digitalization opportunities in the work and an interest in working in interdisciplinary teams and driving the development of primary care forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of specialist in general medicine with us, we offer you a varied job with good opportunities to develop in your professional role. Every week we have scheduled development time alternating with discussions and educational efforts interdisciplinary. We also have interdisciplinary rounds during the week where home care can also participate. If you have a specific area you want to deepen, we will discuss the possibilities for this. As we are an academic health center, we encourage our employees to drive, participate, and contribute to primary care research in the region. Mentoring of ST doctors, AT doctors, candidates, and other colleagues is an obligatory and developing role in your work with us.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed specialist in general medicine with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. We consider work experience from primary care as meritorious. Additionally, experience with healthcare administrative systems such as PMO, 1177 Vårdguiden, and Mina planer is an advantage.

As a person, you have an open and positive attitude that creates a good atmosphere at work. You work solution-focused and independently, while also having a good ability to plan, coordinate, and create structure in your work. You are also a team player who easily lifts your gaze and sees the whole in the organization. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
