Do you want to work in a shared position where you can contribute your expertise at two well-functioning health centers in Lund? We are now looking for an occupational therapist who wants to help develop the future of primary care together with engaged colleagues.

The Nöbbelöv Health Center is located on the outskirts of Lund with good commuting options and has about 9,000 registered patients from both urban and rural areas. There is a family-like atmosphere here with well-functioning teamwork, high continuity, and good accessibility. The facility offers a wide range of services and is an academic health center with research connections and close collaboration with the Center for Primary Care Research.

The Norra Fäladen Health Center has about 10,800 registered patients and is in strong development with a clear focus on education and structured working methods. About 45 employees work here in a well-functioning collaboration. The facility is accredited for child health care, has a specialist clinic for diabetes, asthma-COPD, and geriatric care, and is responsible for two nursing homes. It also houses Lund's only family center.

Both health centers are characterized by a good working environment, high competence, and a focus on quality and patient satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a new colleague to our teams. As an occupational therapist, you will work with assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients of all ages. The work includes outpatient visits and home visits as well as individual and group-based interventions. You will conduct activity and functional assessments and participate in the team’s joint planning regarding the patient's care and rehabilitation.

You will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, and other professionals. The assignment also includes prescribing assistive devices and providing advice. You will plan and structure your work independently and actively contribute to the development of the operations at both units.

You will primarily be based at the Norra Fäladen Health Center and work towards both health centers in a structured manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed occupational therapist with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale is a requirement.

Experience in primary care is an advantage. We prefer you to be confident in your professional role, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy working both independently and in a team. Personal suitability is of great importance.
