On the maternity ward, we care for new mothers and children born from the 35th week of pregnancy. You will meet women with various care needs, where the type of interventions and the length of hospital stays can vary. The operations on the maternity ward are conducted around the clock. Here, the woman, along with her newborn and any partner, is offered a single room with a private toilet and shower in new modern facilities designed for postnatal care.

We have a close collaboration with the delivery ward and neonatal unit. Our services also include the maternity ward's follow-up clinic, home visits, breastfeeding clinic, and neo-collaboration. We place the family at the center and aim to provide them with safe care based on their needs and wishes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking forward to welcoming two nursing colleagues to our team!

As a nurse with us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you work closely with the new family alongside nursing assistants. You will conduct daily rounds with obstetricians and pediatricians.

A significant part of your work involves informing, advising, supporting, and validating the new parents. Since we have admissions and discharges every day, the pace of work varies, making it both exciting and dynamic. There is also work in neo-collaboration where you, as a nurse, will be responsible for mothers admitted whose children are in the neonatal unit.

At our maternity ward, you will be offered an interesting and developing job, where you care for new mothers and their newborns based on their care needs. We meet many different patient groups and families from all corners of the world. Working as a nurse in the maternity ward also provides a good insight into women's health and is a solid foundation if you later wish to further your education as a midwife. As a new employee with us, you will receive three weeks of introduction.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.

We hope that you, like us, have a strong interest in women's health. We also value good collaboration skills and that you enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams, as well as being comfortable with a varying pace of work and the ability to act in acute situations.
