JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Svalöv Health Center is now expanding its operations with an additional resident doctor in general medicine. Your responsibilities as a resident doctor in general medicine include planned consultations, acute patients, administration, and participating in the development of the operations. Your responsibilities also include working at nursing homes, child health centers (the family center Guldkornet), and weekend clinics in Landskrona.
We actively strive for continuity where all doctors have their own defined patient lists. Furthermore, we tailor your training in consultation with you to ensure that your residency training is as optimal, varied, challenging, and interesting as possible. We offer this to provide you with good knowledge and experiences that you can carry with you in your continued work as a doctor in primary care.
In 2021, we started a new working method inspired by the Alaska model, where we divided all staff into four interdisciplinary teams. We call our working method the Svalöv model. Within these teams, they take care of their patients and can, if necessary, perform team visits with different professional categories present. We have rounds twice a week and the opportunity to provide a direct number to each team to increase continuity when the patient contacts the health center.
