Make a Difference. Every Day.

At Medicine Ward 1, our main goal is an empathetic approach with a focus on the patient. We offer an exciting job with great variety where you can develop both in your profession and as a person.

We are a hospitalist ward aiming to care for patients with mixed specialty needs, in close collaboration between the ward and a network of specialty-specific physician consultants.

With us, we work with the patient in focus and always start from what the patient themselves wishes through dialogue with the patient and their relatives. Our patients are all adults, but with a focus on the multi-sick elderly patient, and they primarily come to us from the Emergency Department and Acute Ward (AVA).

The ward has a clear focus on the education/development of our staff, often in joint training together with our sister wards. We place great importance on the opportunity for reflection and learning in everyday life, and to support this we have team supervisors and clinical specialists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a nurse for the role of team supervisor at Medicine Ward 1. The role involves both having a clear pedagogical mission as a team supervisor and working as a nurse, where you will meet a broad and varied patient group in your clinical work.

In the role of team supervisor in a hospitalist ward, you are responsible for supporting the entire team close to the patient with a reflective and guiding approach. By strengthening the team's clinical reasoning and working methods, you contribute to safe and qualitative care. You will also be an important driving force in the ward's continued development by initiating, leading, and implementing improvement and development work. Furthermore, the assignment involves daily supervision and support for both nurses and nursing assistants.

You will also actively work with staff competence development, primarily through bedside supervision, but also by planning and conducting training sessions, reflection meetings, and other educational initiatives.

To work solution-oriented and drive the ward forward, you collaborate closely with the unit manager, ward physician, and are part of the clinic's competence group consisting of nurses with similar assignments in our sister wards.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. We welcome both newly graduated and experienced nurses.

We value that you have a humble approach towards both patients and colleagues. For a rewarding collaboration, we also see that you are flexible, have good prioritization skills, and can make independent decisions while valuing teamwork. Since we work in an acute setting, we see that you have readiness to act and can change your planning according to how the situation looks. Furthermore, you have good self-awareness, are flexible, and have good collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and a genuine interest in working in internal medicine.

In this recruitment, we work with ongoing selection. Warm welcome with your application today!
