Medical Physics and Technology (MFT) is looking for an engaged and competent biomedical engineer with a focus on radiation therapy. Your responsibilities

As a biomedical engineer focused on radiation therapy, you play a central role in ensuring that our advanced treatment systems operate safely, effectively, and with the highest precision. The work is done in close collaboration with MFT's hospital physicists and the oncology clinic. The role involves working in a technically advanced environment with linear accelerators, planning CT, biomedical IT systems, and surrounding equipment. You will be an important part of an engaged team working to provide patients with safe and effective treatment using the latest technology.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Performing maintenance, repairs, upgrades, configuration, and calibration of biomedical equipment and IT systems within radiation therapy.
• Participating in the procurement and implementation of new biomedical equipment and IT systems, including procurement and installations.
• Responsible for documentation and deviation management according to applicable regulations and procedures.
• Supporting healthcare staff in the safe and correct use of biomedical systems and IT systems.
• Being involved in developing and improving routines and processes within the organization.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical engineering or another equivalent education. We prefer candidates with a few years of professional experience in medical technology, preferably in the field of radiation therapy, but we also welcome those new to the profession as personal qualities such as good analytical skills and self-motivation are highly valued.

You have a genuine interest in technology in healthcare and want to contribute to safe and effective radiation therapy for our patients. You have a structured approach, are solution-oriented, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. The work requires a careful and precise approach when working with sensitive electronic and mechanical components. Experience in this area is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have the willingness and ability to learn and develop this skill.
