Support Assistant in Staffing Team

Do you want to make a real difference in people's everyday lives? As a support assistant in our staffing team, you help create meaningful employment and strengthen people's opportunities for independence and participation.

YOUR ROLE

As a support assistant in the staffing team, you work flexibly within our operations and provide support during the absence of regular staff or when additional personnel is needed. The work is scheduled during the day (07:45–16:15) with annual working hours.

You work based on established implementation plans and goals and use a pedagogical and clarifying approach. With a salutogenic perspective, you support individuals with disabilities in developing their abilities, being involved, and achieving greater independence. You contribute to a daily life that is meaningful, understandable, and manageable based on each individual's needs.

In daily activities, you create a developing employment together with participants where they work based on their capabilities. All participants have tasks, often linked to business assignments and customer contact, with the goal of getting as close to the labor market as possible. The assignment also includes collaboration with services for children and youth as well as personal assistance.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who is educated in healthcare and social care or the child and youth program with a focus on pedagogical or social work. You are confident in working based on individual needs and implementation plans and have knowledge of disabilities and an understanding of how they can affect everyday life.

You have good communication skills, express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and document in a structured manner. A passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 is a requirement. The work involves practical tasks and requires that you have the physical ability to perform the tasks. A B driver's license is a requirement.

Since the assignment involves work in several operations, you need to be flexible, independent, and easily adaptable to different working methods and situations. You are stable in your working style, collaborate unpretentiously, and contribute to good relationships with participants, colleagues, and partners. In meetings with others, you are attentive and considerate.

You work with a health-promoting approach and see the individual's resources and abilities. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and knowledge of low-arousal responses and pedagogical methods are advantageous.

To work in the operations, you will need to order a background check for work with children with disabilities from the Police (https://polisen.se/ (https://polisen.se/)) which you will then present.

YOUR NEW WORKPLACE

The staffing team consists of six employees who together support 29 operations within Support and Service. The team works across several areas and provides additional support as needed, for example during vacation periods or in special assignments. The operations include daily activities, children and youth, and personal assistance.

Daily activities are aimed at individuals with disabilities and aim to create meaningful employment and strengthen the individual's opportunities for work in both the short and long term. We collaborate with companies, administrations, and associations to offer varied and realistic tasks.
