Your role

As a psychologist with us, you will play an important role in providing our patients with accessible and professional psychological assessments, treatment, and advice. Nytorget Health Center offers support to both children, adolescents, and adults with mild to moderate mental health issues. In this role, your main focus will be on children and adolescents aged 6-17, within the framework of our expanded mission for mental health in children.

You will work independently with psychological assessments, advice, and treatment interventions with a CBT focus. We treat issues such as sleep problems, stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, relationship difficulties, tics, and obsessive-compulsive disorder of mild to moderate severity. We always prioritize the integrity of the child or young person while striving to involve parents in the treatment.

As a psychologist with us, you will collaborate closely with schools, social services, and specialist care as needed. You will also be an important part of the development work ongoing in the area of mental health at the health center.

Who are we looking for?

• You are a licensed psychologist with expertise in psychiatric assessment of developmental disorders in children and young people.
• You have at least one year of experience in treatment work with children and adolescents.
• Experience working in primary care is an advantage.
• You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to see the organization from a holistic perspective with both the patient and the reception in focus.
• You are stable, flexible, and adaptable to different situations and have an easy time collaborating.
• You have good communication skills and build good relationships with patients and colleagues.
• You are attentive, professional, and have a respectful approach.
• Experience with the TakeCare journal system is an advantage.

Consulting assignments or staffing companies are not applicable. Unfortunately, we cannot accept PTP psychologists.
