As a tool designer, you will be part of a section focused on detailed manufacturing. You will be part of a design department that works closely with production and is responsible for developing and creating documentation for tools for the workshops.

The team consists of both designers and production engineers who, in close collaboration, develop and improve tools across several advanced product areas. The work is varied and includes everything from prototype development and new development to further development and optimization of existing tools.

You will work on designing, for example, milling fixtures, welding fixtures, mold tools, and press tools. The role involves both investigative work and pure design in CAD, where you create models, drawings, and model specifications. You will also follow up on your designs in production to ensure functionality, methodology, and user-friendliness.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field

• At least 1 year of experience in mechanical design or tool design

• Experience in design work in CAD

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The role requires you to be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks while valuing dialogue and collaboration with production and other functions.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary

Scope: Full-time, permanent

Start: Immediately, taking into account your possible notice period

Location: Linköping
