About the preschool

Daghemmet Yttersta Tvärgränd Economic Association, or Preschool Elvan as we call ourselves, has been operated as a staff cooperative since 1993. We are eight members in the association, who also sit on the board and work at the preschool. We have two employees, our cook and an assistant.

Our preschool is located on the culturally marked street Yttersta tvärgränd, with roots dating back to the 18th century, just a stone's throw from Skinnarviksparken. The preschool has large spacious premises and a fantastic yard with trees, hills, greenery, and plenty of space for developing and challenging play. The preschool consists of two departments with 17 - 19 children in extended sibling groups aged 1–5 years.

The preschool's activities are based on the guidelines of the City of Stockholm and the Curriculum for Preschool Lpfö18.

About the role

We are now looking for a preschool assistant for one of our two departments at Elvan. The position is in a child group and involves working with children and being involved in the daily activities at the preschool. You will be part of a team together with three other educators and an assistant.

The position is 100% and is a fixed-term employment/temporary position for an employee who is on leave for studies, until January 2028.

The ideal candidate should

· Have preschool assistant training and experience working in a child group

· Have knowledge of the preschool's governing documents

· Be familiar with documentation using digital tools

· Have good personal suitability! It is important for us to find the right person for our team.

· Be available to start the position in March 2026.
