Social Worker for the HVB Group in Haninge

Do you have ideas for the future and are you driven by challenges? In Haninge, you will develop alongside supportive colleagues who want to make a difference today. We are currently undergoing one of the most ambitious transformation efforts in our municipality's history. We are building a new city, about 20 minutes from Söder. Join us on our journey.

Welcome to develop with us

Are you ready for the next step in your career? There is now an opportunity to become part of our intervention group consisting of experienced social workers and a group leader.

Haninge municipality is at the forefront. In 2023, we were one of the first municipalities to establish first and second line social services, a step in our adaptation for the future social services and the new social services act. In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and extensive interventions preceded by investigations. Our work is based on a target group focus in which we investigate and coordinate interventions based on evidence- and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors.

The operations consist of four units: a children’s unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and special functions, and a unit for foster care and contact activities. Each unit is led by a unit manager and the groups are led by group leaders. We work family-oriented and team-based for the best interests of our children and youth.

We who work here are knowledgeable and engaged in our work. We care about each other and strive to maintain a good atmosphere in the groups. We want our work to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal security, and we believe it is important to develop in our work.

To strengthen our quality and create conditions for you as a social worker to use your skills resourcefully and with the best interests of children and youth in focus, we have chosen to invest in the following support functions:

  • A developed structure for regular support such as case discussions and external supervision.
  • Specialist social workers with a cross-functional role in areas such as method support, implementation, introduction, and recurring training.
  • A structured introduction plan for new employees.
  • Business developers to support our continued development with target group-oriented working methods.
  • SIP coordinators to enhance the quality of SIP meetings and ensure that children and youth in need are offered SIP meetings.
  • Placement coordinators to assist in seeking external placement forms and managing contracts.
  • Administrators tasked with relieving and supporting social workers.
  • An expanded focus on risk and needs assessments to detect and prevent children from being drawn into crime.
  • A structure that enables remote work for those who wish and based on the needs of the operations.

As a dear colleague is going on parental leave, we are now looking for a social worker for a temporary position in the HVB group who wants to be challenged and be part of our exciting development.

Your assignment

The HVB group is part of the intervention group belonging to the unit for interventions and special functions. As a social worker in the HVB group, you will be responsible for follow-ups of interventions according to SoL and LVU. The interventions are mainly institutional placements such as HVB, SiS, and supported housing, but also certain types of emergency placements and some open care when youth move back home. You are driven to work on operational and quality development, and you work according to current legislation and delegation. We work closely with the youth and their networks, and the work is supported by BBIC, Signs of Safety, and Savry. The work involves close collaboration with internal and external partners.

This position is a temporary position for one year.
