Support Educator for Meaningful Everyday Life

About the Position

This position is a combined role where you will perform your duties as a support educator both in residential settings and in the daily activities we have in Rimbo.

You will work closely with your manager to develop a plan for where you can be most effective based on current needs – primarily as a support educator, but also as a resource when needed.

You will belong to an area in Rimbo that includes four daily activities and an LSS residence. On certain occasions, such as during training or joint development initiatives, other LSS activities within the organization may also benefit from your expertise. You will work daytime, Monday to Friday.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Having pedagogical responsibility together with the manager and colleagues in our LSS activities in Rimbo – both on the residential side and in daily activities.
• Being a support to support assistants as a support educator.
• Participating in training to strengthen groups in methods and development within AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Training and supporting during MI conversations (Motivational Interviewing).
• Using Studio 3 and other tools that are important for development in the activities.

About Our Offer

We offer a wellness allowance of 5000 SEK for the year 2026.

About You

For this position, you need:

• Support educator training.
• MI training.
• Studio 3 training.
• AAC training.
• Good digital competence.
• Driver's license (B) and driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with Lifecare.
• Experience in creating implementation plans.

You are a stable and self-sufficient person with a good ability to take your own initiative, which makes you thrive in working under significant personal responsibility. Your flexibility allows you to easily switch between our various activities and become a valuable resource where the need is greatest. You have a pedagogical inclination, communicate clearly, and collaborate well, which contributes to your success in guiding others. Your ability to see the whole picture where others see individual events, along with your independence to act and your focus on the best interests of the organization, makes you successful in your role.
