Right now, one of the most ambitious transformation efforts in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, about 20 minutes from Söder. Join us on our journey.
Welcome to develop with us
Are you ready for the next step in your career? There is now an opportunity to become part of our intervention group consisting of experienced social workers and a team leader.
Haninge Municipality is at the forefront. In 2023, we were one of the first municipalities to establish first and second line social services, a step in our adaptation for the future social services and the new social services act. In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions that are preceded by investigations. In our work, we focus on target groups, investigating and coordinating interventions based on evidence- and knowledge-based methods and in collaboration with other community actors.
The organization consists of four units: a children's unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and special functions, and a unit for foster care and contact activities. Each unit is led by a unit manager and the groups are led by team leaders. We work family-oriented and team-based for the best interests of our children and youth.
We who work here are knowledgeable and engaged in our work. We care about each other and strive to maintain a good atmosphere in the groups. We want our work to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal security, and we believe it is important to develop in our work.
To strengthen our quality and create conditions for you as a social worker to use your skills resourcefully and with the best interests of the children and youth in focus, we have chosen to invest in the following support functions:
- A well-established structure for regular support such as case discussions and external supervision.
- Specialist social workers with an organization-wide mandate for example in method support, implementation, introduction, and recurring training.
- A structured introduction plan for new employees.
- Business developers to support our continued development with target group-oriented working methods.
- SIP coordinators to enhance the quality of SIP meetings and ensure that children and youth in need are offered SIP meetings.
- Placement coordinators to assist in seeking external placement forms and managing contracts.
- Administrators tasked with relieving and supporting social workers.
- An expanded focus on risk and needs assessments to detect and prevent children from being drawn into crime.
- A structure that allows remote work for those who wish and based on the needs of the organization.
We are now expanding our intervention group and looking for more social workers who want to be challenged and be part of our exciting development.
Your mission
In the unit for interventions and special assignments, two workgroups are placed. One is a workgroup for special assignments where intensive investigations, safety planning, and SIP coordination are included, and the other is the intervention group where this position is located. The intervention group includes a HVB group and an intervention group. As a social worker in the intervention group, you will follow up on approved interventions and conduct investigations where needs arise. This is to ensure that our children and youth in Haninge Municipality receive the right interventions, at the right time, with clear and measurable goals, and that the interventions are carefully monitored. This is to enable quick support if the child's or youth's situation changes. The intervention group also includes social workers who work with follow-up of HVB placements. The group as a whole is led by a team leader.
