Do you want to help create the best summer for residents in Hässelby-Vällingby? Do you want to mentor summer youth and be a role model?

This summer, we will be at three locations in our district and carry out activities and experiences aimed at children and young people, as well as adults and seniors, 65+.

We offer

We offer you a workplace where things are happening all the time, where you will be responsible for creating activities aimed at different target groups, children and young people, as well as seniors, 65+, together with the summer youth and the responsible project leader.

Your role

As a mentor, you will be responsible for 18 young people aged 16-19 years together with a colleague. Together, you will plan, coordinate, and implement various activities at the location you will be at. There will be a responsible project leader to support you.

Since this is, for many of the young people, their first acquaintance with working life, it is important that you, as a supervisor, are a good role model and introduce the young people to being good employees and colleagues.

Your skills and experience

To be considered for the position, we want you to have experience working with young people. As a person, we see that you:

• Have a great interest in youth and leadership.
• Communicate easily and follow instructions
• Are meticulous and fair
• Want to be a role model for the youth
• Are supportive and guiding
• Can motivate the youth to participate in tasks and contribute to good cooperation and shared responsibility
• Participate and assist in the youth's tasks

It is an advantage if you have worked with young people with disabilities. Perhaps you have a pedagogical education or background and/or leadership experience from an association or other contexts.

You have a good ability to engage, motivate, and also to keep order among others. Since no two workdays are the same, it is important that you are unpretentious and flexible.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
