The commitment is high and the satisfaction factor is great. The health center is beautifully located by Viaredssjön, about 13 km west of Borås city center. Good connections are available by train or bus from both Gothenburg and Borås.

About the job
Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of responsibilities and cover the general medical field where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.
The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will largely work independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, which is why mentoring students is also included as part of your role at the health center.
About you
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care and/or have completed a mentorship training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and business development.

The position is a temporary contract for 12 months with a possibility of extension.

About the recruitment process
The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates to a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
