About the Job

As a care assistant, you play an important role in society.

Änggårdsbacken, located at Per Dubbsgatan 4, near Sahlgrenska University Hospital, currently has a total of 169 places spread across three buildings. We are now looking for new colleagues who want to work as care assistants focused on elderly psychiatry.

We value your commitment and competence. You are the one who makes everyday life function and become meaningful. In your work, you start from the strengths of the resident and utilize the individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual circumstances in their own home, which is part of the care home.

Your tasks include everything from personal care, support around meals, encouragement and support in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed staff. You are also a contact person who helps the resident articulate their needs and wishes.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

Requirements

• We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate for protected professional title, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a care assistant at the introduction of the new regulations
• Computer skills to document in IT systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

• Experience from working in care and support

In your role, you will meet many people, which requires you to work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your meetings, and always have the residents' best interests in focus. The workday can sometimes be different than planned since you work with people, so you maintain calm, balance different demands, and reprioritize your tasks.
