Every weekday, joint activities are organized, such as walking groups, quizzes, music performances, and mingling sessions. We have beautiful large balconies on all our floors and several outdoor areas on the ground floor. We offer you a meaningful assignment at Svaleboskogens care and nursing home. Here, you will work in a team with a manager, licensed staff, and nursing assistants to ensure that residents receive the best possible care and support.

The assignment includes:

As a specialist nursing assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to utilize your specialist competence to create value for our residents. Your assignment will be guided by the needs of the operations and aim at quality-enhancing measures and improvement work.

In addition to the regular nursing assistant role, your role as a specialist nursing assistant includes mentoring and guiding your colleagues in care situations, interactions, and approaches based on person-centered care and support. We would like you to have experience working with quality registers and social documentation.

Together with care mentors, you will also support the unit manager in daily guidance and operational development and participate in the introduction of new employees.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

Requirements:

• You are a trained nursing assistant and can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate for protected professional title or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant at the introduction of the new regulations.
• You are a trained specialist nursing assistant with vocational training of at least 200 YH credits in geriatrics, palliative care, dementia, acute care, or another focus deemed suitable by the employer.
• You should be well acquainted with the requirements of daily work in a care and nursing home and have experience working in care and support.
• Since communication and documentation are important parts of the job, you must have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• You have experience with social documentation and work with quality registers.

Meritorious

• It is meritorious if you have previous experience mentoring individuals and groups.

You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You adapt your communication according to the recipient and situation.
