Welcome to the Emergency Department, Kungälv Hospital!

We who work in the emergency department are a team of nursing assistants, nurses, and emergency physicians who receive approximately 30,000 patients each year.

In our emergency department, you will meet patients with various symptoms/diseases in medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. In our daily work, we collaborate in teams with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists. We also have a "Pharmacist in Care" who assists and supports staff regarding medications, administrators who help with patient admissions, and maintenance staff who assist with patient transport at certain times of the day. We are now looking for nursing assistants who want to be part of our exciting workplace; we seek individuals with an interest in emergency care and prior experience in hospital care. Who are you

You are a trained nursing assistant with at least one year of experience in hospital care and preferably an interest in emergency care. You are humble and ambitious, perceived as a cheerful and positive person. You are engaged and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You want to develop, learn more, and are not afraid to pitch in where needed. If you are also flexible and have good collaboration skills, you are definitely the right person for us. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in emergency care.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and social services.
