About us

Within Basic Home Healthcare, we usually work on behalf of health centers/general practitioners – evenings, nights, and weekends. Our teams operate from five geographical locations in Stockholm County. Aleris Basic Home Healthcare is part of Aleris Primary Care, which includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care wards, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Urgent Care.

The Role

As a nursing or medical student, you will perform home healthcare under the delegation of a nurse. Your tasks include, among other things, medication administration, insulin, feeding tubes, stoma care, inhalation, and minor wound care. We document in the TakeCare journal system and use our Epsilon system as a working tool to plan our patient visits. With us, you have administrative support in planning patient work. Together, we work to create safe and quality care for our patients.

We are looking for summer substitutes for our operations in Northeast, Northwest, Western suburbs, Southern suburbs, and Inner City. As an employee with us, you will start from one operation and visit our patients within a defined geographical area. You will transport yourself to the visits with our environmentally classified cars (Inner City can accept applicants without a driver's license).

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a nursing student who has completed semester 3, or a medical student who has completed semester 6

• Has good computer skills and preferably experience with the Take Care journal system

• Holds a B driver's license

• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have worked with tasks delegated by a nurse and/or have experience in home healthcare. We prefer that you can work independently, are responsible, work in a structured and methodical way, and that quality is important to you.
