Slottegymnasiet is looking for a dedicated and secure vocational teacher for 50% of the time for our Vehicle and Transport Program.

You will be an important part of our team and work to educate, guide, and assess students aiming for a future in the transport industry. The position is primarily focused on practical teaching within the transport education. You will work closely with colleagues, students, and the industry to ensure a modern, safe, and labor market-adapted education.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in the transport education, you will have a varied and developing role with a focus on practical elements. Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading and instructing practical elements such as maneuvering cars and trucks, timber cranes, forklifts, wheel loaders, and handling load changers as well as reversing with trailers.
• Ensuring safety and quality in practical teaching.
• Planning, following up, and evaluating the teaching.
• Creating security and good relationships within the student group.
• Working closely with colleagues in the team and contributing to the program's development.
• Ensuring that the education complies with current regulations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed vocational teacher in the vehicle or transport field or has documented experience from the industry.

Experience in practical education within the transport focus of the vehicle and transport program is particularly meritorious.

Driving licenses B, C, CE
