Unit Description

The Community Building Unit is responsible for issues related to housing supply, housing and energy grants, climate adaptation, cultural heritage, urban planning, appeals of municipal decisions, administration of general elections, and various administrative matters.

The areas of responsibility include both overarching development and coordination tasks, as well as more specific assignments and ongoing case handling.

The current position as a housing support officer will belong to the area of energy and housing support.

Your Tasks

The position involves supervision according to support regulations and requirements from the EU Recovery Fund (RRF) and handling of upcoming support.

In the supervisory tasks, you will for example:

• conduct audits and follow-ups of disbursed support within the energy and housing sector
• analyze and review financial reports and documentation
• collaborate with other authorities, county administrative boards, and external actors to ensure that state support is used according to regulations
• contribute to the development of follow-up and supervision methods in the national network surrounding this work.

Your Qualifications

You need to have a higher education in economics or law (university or college). You also need to have experience in public service.

It is advantageous if you have worked as an investigative officer or auditor at a government agency and have solid experience and knowledge in investigative methodology and in-depth desk reviews. Experience in conducting site visits and a B driver's license is also advantageous.

Your personal suitability for the position is important to us. In the recruitment process, we will therefore place great emphasis on your competencies. As a person, you need to be analytical and meticulous. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a service-oriented authority with many contacts both with officials and citizens. You are persistent, self-driven, and used to making independent decisions.

You need to have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
