Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the Position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• wants to work with a young man in his 30s living in central Ljungby
• has experience working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• enjoys going to church, watching movies, socializing, and taking walks. You also like music in various forms and are interested in cars.

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have experience working in healthcare and social services
• have completed high school education or equivalent
• have completed training in healthcare and social services
• have experience working with TEACCH
• have a B driver's license and your own car
• are non-smoker

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary:

The current employment form is hourly employment. The position involves work during daytime, evening, and night (including on-call) on weekdays and weekends.

Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Start Date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being Employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
