The responsibility of the Health and Care Administration is to provide care, support, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as to support their relatives. The position is a project employment for 2026, with the possibility of continued work within home care after the project period ends.

The Position and Responsibilities

As a specialist nursing assistant, you are part of the regular operations within home care. You belong to the unit's workgroup, participate in staff meetings and work meetings, and collaborate closely with colleagues, unit managers, and business developers to create safety, quality, and development in the operations. The role is guiding and supportive within the workgroup and aims to strengthen the quality of daily care work. The work is carried out together with other employees and contributes to ensuring that users receive adequate care and a safe and meaningful everyday life.

Your role includes, among other things:

  • performing nursing assistant tasks with a focus on individual needs and high quality.
  • documenting your own work according to laws and supporting colleagues in documentation and implementation plans.
  • supporting colleagues in follow-up, reporting, and documentation of deviations and contributing to increased understanding and quality in the unit's working methods.
  • mapping working methods, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to continuous business development.
  • participating in monthly spot checks, training, workshops, and result reviews to strengthen quality and learning.
  • covering for urgent needs.

The role involves a person-centered and professional approach and a strong commitment to both users and the workgroup. The work is carried out based on the quality needs of the operations and may include both shorter and longer assignments in different units. We work ambulatorily within the entire home care service area. When placed in a specific unit, you direct work-related questions to the unit manager, who is your immediate supervisor. In overarching structural matters, you are part of the project group led by the responsible unit manager for the project.

The work takes place Monday to Friday during daytime hours, providing good predictability and balance between work and leisure.

You Who Are Applying to Us

You are a trained nursing assistant with specialist training in elderly care or equivalent specialist competence.

Other requirements:

  • Driver's license (B)
  • Good ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Meritorious:

  • Experience in quality work.
  • Experience in home care.
  • Experience working with the elderly.
  • Experience in documentation in Lifecare and working with implementation plans.

As a specialist nursing assistant in this role, you are engaged and professional in your interactions with each individual, ensuring safe and high-quality care. You are flexible and adaptable, allowing you to support different units and colleagues as needed. Your communicative and guiding ability strengthens the workgroup and contributes to correct documentation and reporting. With analytical and development-oriented competence, you map working methods, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvements in the operations.
