We are looking for a temporary colleague for the children's unit.

About us: We are a creative team of 10 social workers. What stands out in the group is that everyone is caring and inclusive. There is a good and warm atmosphere throughout the area for children & youth. It is important for us to help each other, support one another, and maintain good work for the children, youth, and families we meet.

The Children and Youth area is part of the Social Department at the Södermalm District Administration. We consist of three investigation units with different age orientations (children, youth, and 0-20 years), family law, as well as family care and contact activities. The unit is led by an area manager and four unit managers. The unit has two coordinators who provide support in operational matters and introduce new employees. There is also a school coordinator and a SIP coordinator in the unit. In total, the unit consists of about 65 employees. We are located in fresh premises in Hammarby Sjöstad.

We offer

We have a well-being group in the unit that organizes fun activities to maintain the good atmosphere and cohesion between the groups. As a social worker in the children's group, you and your colleagues conduct investigations and follow up on granted interventions concerning families with younger children (0-12 years). Your work is based on applicable legislation, guidelines, and knowledge support. Your work is very significant and multifaceted as you work in dialogue with families and networks to find the best solution for the child.

You have continuous support from your unit manager and colleagues in your work. You work in pairs during investigations and help each other between groups. You regularly participate in method support and external supervision. Everyone who starts in the unit receives an individual introduction plan.

At the same time, you have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work with a wide variety of tasks. We are looking for someone who sees the challenge in being able to drive complex cases and share knowledge/experiences with your colleagues.
