About the Unit

The LSS Housing Unit in Gustavsberg consists of four cozy group homes, all located in or near Gustavsberg. Here, dedicated support assistants, coordinators, and a unit manager work together to create a safe, developing, and warm environment for the residents. We have staffing around the clock, and during the night, we apply sleeping on-call duty. Thanks to good communication, you can quickly and easily get here – the bus from Slussen takes about 20 minutes.

Your Mission

In our group homes, individuals who need support in their daily lives reside. Our work involves strengthening individual resources, promoting independence, and offering personalized support.

This may involve:

• motivating activities and social interaction
• supporting good decision-making
• providing personal care support
• motivating a healthy lifestyle
• creating structure and security in daily life

Most of our residents attend their daily activities during weekdays, which creates calm and predictable routines in the home.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people and who is educated or in training as a nursing assistant, nurse, social pedagogue, social worker, or has other relevant education deemed equivalent by the employer. As a person, you are flexible, attentive, calm, and secure in yourself. You enjoy coming up with activities and creating meaningful moments. You thrive in working both independently and as part of a team. Since documentation is part of the job, you should have a good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.

Experience in LSS operations or work in group homes/daily activities is an advantage – but the most important thing is your personal suitability and willingness to contribute.

We primarily seek staff during the summer vacation period, which extends from week 26 to week 33.
