Do you want to help build a new dementia-focused short-term department and contribute to safe, person-centered, and quality care?
We are now looking for a dedicated and responsible nursing assistant for Edö care and nursing home.
With us, you will have the opportunity to work in an organization where quality, collaboration, and respect for individual needs are at the center. The short-term department is aimed at individuals with dementia who need temporary care and support.
Edö care and nursing home is beautifully located by Lake Magelungen in Farsta Strand, just a few minutes' walk from the subway and commuter train. The care and nursing home currently consists of 107 places, of which 8 departments are for individuals with dementia and 4 departments are somatic. In 2019, the operation was awarded the Star Mark.
Job Responsibilities
As a nursing assistant with us, you will work with:
- Person-centered care based on the implementation plan
- Support in daily activities and social stimulation
- Documentation according to applicable legislation SOL
- Collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals
- Contact with relatives and close ones
You are an important part of the team and actively contribute to creating a safe and meaningful stay for our residents.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a trained nursing assistant and has a protected professional title.
- Has at least 3 years of experience in elderly care, specifically in dementia care.
- Experience in short-term care is an advantage.
- Has good computer skills and is comfortable with digital documentation.
- Master the Swedish language well in both spoken and written form.
- Is responsible, flexible, and has good collaboration skills.
