Medical Secretary/Healthcare Administrator to Healthcare Administration
Within Healthcare Administration, we have gathered the hospital's healthcare administrative resources with the mission to ensure that our healthcare administrative resources and processes are utilized optimally based on the needs of the operations.
We are around 200 medical secretaries and healthcare administrators, divided into six units. Several interesting IT projects are underway, including the introduction of a centralized cash function and automation of administrative processes.
Job Description
We are now looking for you as a medical secretary/healthcare administrator to work with us in Healthcare Administration, focusing on Sachsska Children's Hospital. You will be an important part of the operations at SÖS, contributing to the development of our healthcare administrative processes.
The work is varied and includes, among other things:
- Documentation based on dictation
- Diagnosis classification and coding in the Take Care journal system
- Registration in quality registers
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Formal education as a medical secretary/healthcare administrator
- Good knowledge of the Office suite
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language and medical terminology
- Experience and education in diagnosis classification and coding
- Good communication skills and a structured working method
Meritorious:
- Basic education in diagnosis classification via Emendor or equivalent
- Experience of working in reception/cash
- Experience from both inpatient and outpatient care.
