About Bufff Sweden
Bufff is a national children's rights organization that supports children and young people with an incarcerated family member. We work with support services, education, knowledge dissemination, and advocacy, with the child's best interests in focus. We are currently undergoing a transformation journey to develop and quality assure our operations and prepare to grow rapidly. The Prison and Probation Service will triple its prison capacity, which means our target group will grow just as much. We have never been more needed than now.
About the role
As an operations developer, you will be responsible for Bufff's national outreach work within the Prison and Probation Service. You will have overall responsibility for the state grant – from application and planning to implementation, follow-up, and reporting.
You will develop, quality assure, and evaluate the work and act as Bufff's national contact towards prison and probation units. You will also support our local associations in the outreach work and contribute to creating structure, consensus, and long-term sustainability throughout the organization.
The role is both strategic and operational; you drive development forward while managing administration and follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the state grant (application, budget, follow-up, and reporting)
- Develop and implement methods for Bufff's outreach work
- Evaluate and quality assure the initiatives
- Be the national contact person towards prison and probation units
- Support and guide local associations on issues related to outreach work
- Collaborate with relevant actors within civil society and authorities
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience working with state grants, including applications and reporting
- Has experience from the non-profit sector, prison and probation, or other relevant fields
- Is used to working independently with great personal responsibility
- Has good administrative and organizational skills
- Is comfortable in contact with authorities and various professional actors
- Has experience in method development, evaluation, or quality work.
